DUBLIN – The Small Business Center (SBC) of Bladen Community College is offering no-cost seminars to help you prepare for tax season.

Basics of Finance: Crash Course for Non-Financial Owners and Entrepreneurs is scheduled for Tues., Feb. 21, from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. on the Dublin campus, building 2, room 202. , Also on Feb. 21, Crunch Time: What You Need to Know Prior to April 18th is scheduled from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the same location, or can be viewed as an online webinar.

Marketing Your Business with Pinterest is a workshop that reveals the secrets of selling your product on a social media platform. The seminar is scheduled for Thurs., Feb. 23, from 6:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. on the Dublin campus, building 2, room 202.

The East Arcadia Campus is hosting the second part of the Entrepreneurs Academy, Finding Funding for Your Idea, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tues., Feb. 14.

The Bladen County Public Library will welcome two seminars in February. On Tues., Feb. 14, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., the library is hosting, Basics of Bookkeeping. On Tues., Feb. 28, How to Start a Business in Bladen County is scheduled from 2:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m.

How and Where to Find Grants is scheduled for Sat., Feb. 25, from 9 a.m. until 12 noon on the Dublin campus, building 2, room 202. Churches and non-profits will benefit from the introductory seminar with local professional Sam Gore.

The popular Quickbooks for Small Business Part 1 is a hands-on seminar in the computer lab, scheduled for Feb. 27, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Participants will work online with the program, receive one-on-one instructions, and have the opportunity to ask questions.

All seminars are open to the public and provided at no charge due to special funding arrangements for the Small Business Center and Bladen Community College.
