The Small Business Center (SBC) of Bladen Community College is pleased to
bring a great slate of webinars and seminars for the month of May.
At the new Small Business Incubator on 207 E Broad St. in Elizabethtown, a
livestream of “National Small Business Week with Google” will play on
Wednesday May 8 th from 12:00-1:00PM. Bring your lunch and learn about
consumer trends related to local searches and best practices for using Google.
The main campus hosts the “Social Media for Churches and Non-Profits” on
Saturday May 12 from 9:00AM-12:00PM.
Off-campus seminars:
At Bladen County Public Library at 111 N. Cypress St. “There is Free Money to
Start/Expand a Business but no Grants” will be presented on Thursday May 23rd from 6 – 8PM.
Webinars available online only this month are:
Wednesday May 29 from 1:30-2:30 PM “Selecting a Non-Profit Board”
Thursday May 30 from 10:00-11:00 AM “Using Live Video to Market Your Business”
All seminars/webinars are open to the public and provided at no charge due to
special funding arrangements for the Small Business Center and Bladen
Community College.
