BCCADDUBLIN – The Small Business Center (SBC) of Bladen Community College is offering free business seminars in June.

The Top Ten Management Survival Skills is scheduled for Wednesday June 1st from 1-2 P.M. This workshop gives you the tools you need to become a more effective manager. The class meets in building 2 on the Dublin campus.

On Thursday June 2nd, the college will host Google Analytics for Business Owners from 1-2 P.M. This workshop is also on campus in Building 2.

The NC Cooperative Extension Office is hosting the Regional Web Page Marketing Design Workshop for Farmers on Thursday June 9th from 9 A.M.–2 P.M. This seminar will include hands-on computer training.

Popular speaker Bob Moore will present So You Think You Want to Start a Business on Thursday June 9th from 6:30–9 P.M. During this seminar, attendees will evaluate their personal strengths and weaknesses, and assess their chances of successful entrepreneurship.

On Tuesday June 14th, the Bladen County Public Library in Elizabethtown will host Social Media for Non-Profits at 2:30 P.M. This workshop provides practical advice for creating a solid e-strategy for building relationships and donations for your business or organization. Also on June 14th is a fun and interactive seminar Getting Your Business Online.  This workshop meets from 6-8 P.M. on the East Arcadia Campus.

A hands-on lab seminar, Online Tools and Apps for Small Business, is scheduled on Monday June 27th from 2-4 P.M. in building 2, room 207 on the BCC main campus. This seminar will explore “freemium” apps and online tools that enable small businesses and startups to avoid costs while establishing their business in areas such as HR, invoicing, CRM, communication, marketing, and time, finance, & document management.

All seminars are open to the public and provided at no charge due to special funding arrangements for the Small Business Center and Bladen Community College.
