A staff report
The annual Elizabethtown Christmas Parade is a cherished tradition, bringing joy and holiday cheer to our community. This year’s theme, “Christmas in Elizabethtown,” promises an unforgettable celebration on Sunday, December 1, 2024. From the festive floats to the twinkling lights of the Tree Lighting Ceremony, it’s an event that draws families and visitors alike to downtown Elizabethtown.
One highlight of the parade is the beloved Shriner clowns and go-kart performers, who never fail to dazzle spectators of all ages. However, bringing this unique act to the parade comes at a cost. To ensure the Shriners can once again spread their magic, we are seeking generous sponsors to help cover the $500 donation required for each of the six Shriner clubs.
Director of Communications and Marketing, Terri Dennison, explains, “The Shriner clowns are always a popular part of our Elizabethtown Christmas Parade. We are looking for sponsors to help offset the cost of each of the six Shriner clubs.”
Becoming a sponsor not only supports this iconic feature of the parade but also provides a unique opportunity for visibility. Sponsors will have the chance to feature their vehicle in the parade, with a custom banner announcing their support prominently displayed. It’s a wonderful way to showcase your holiday spirit and connect with the community in a meaningful way.
If you’re interested in sponsoring a Shriner club, don’t wait—applications are due by November 22, 2024! Entry forms can be mailed or dropped off at Elizabethtown Town Hall.
