Charlotte Smith interviews Curly Guy for beauty tips

YouTube can be used for many things these days. BladenOnline.com has a channel on the well known platform to assist in recording news, events and other interests in our area.

Recently I had the opportunity to interview a well known Vlogger in Bladen County Dawan Pearson, known as, Curly Guy, on his YouTube Channel. Curly Guy is reaching many with his tips, how-to’s and reviews by being a Vlogger, which is like a blogger only with videos instead of blogs.

The local internet icon has been featured in Allure Magazine among other notable publications. Pearson saw a need for a male beauty guru and filled it.

With over 18,000 subscribers to his channel, Pearson has been vlogging since 2014. He seems to have mastered more than curly hair too.

He asked me to collaborate with him to give our viewers five (5) beauty tips for women on the go. Basically, all I had to do is mustered the courage to go out of the house with no make up on and record Curly Guy making my tired face glow and pop.

It was a lot of fun to do and the video will be published soon. Pearson is doing great things right here in Bladen County.

Pearson works, goes to school and still finds time to help make the world a more beautiful place. He has his goal set on achieving a degree in medicine and does his Vlogging as a hobby at the present moment.
