Bladen County’s 10-and-Under Girls Softball All-Stars open play Saturday at 12:45 p.m. against Fuquay-Varina in the State-Wide Activities Committee’s (SWAC) Sectional Tournament in New Bern.
If Bladen County wins their opener, they will play the Onslow County/Nash County winner at 2:45 Saturday. A loss would send Bladen County into a 5:00 Saturday game against the Onslow County/Nash County loser.
Members of the Bladen County All-Stars are: Emma Dunn, Marlene Crabtree, Gabriella Bray, Mary Frances Sutton, Kallie Bass, Mollie Tolar, Natalee Sykes, Brenna Hester, Kali Allen, Leea Wilkins, Niyah Wooten, Tatum Allen and Jenna Brice.
Head Coach of the Bladen All-Stars is Jennifer Fruchey and assistant coaches are Jason Sutton and Jamie Brice.
The tournament will be played at the West New Bern Recreation Center that is located at 1225 Pinetree Dr., New Bern, NC 28562.
