GASTONIA – Bladen County battled Fuquay Varina to a 2-2 tie Saturday to advance to the semi-finals of the StateWide Activities Committee 12U Girls State Soccer Tournament.
Sophia Masaid and Molly Evans scored the Bladen goals against Fuquay Varina. In Bladen County’s first game Saturday, Masaid recorded a ‘Hat Trick’ scoring all 3 of the Bladen goals in a 6-3 loss.
Bladen County will play Oliver’s Angels from Burlington in Sunday’s semi-finals at 10:30 a.m.
