Bladen County’s 12-and-Under Girls Softball All-Stars open play Friday at 12 noon in the State-Wide Activities Committee’s (SWAC) Sectional Tournament in New Bern.
Bladen County will play the winner of Friday morning’s Bear Grass/Nash County game. If Bladen County wins at 12:00, they will play again at 5:30 Friday. A loss would send Bladen County into a 3:30 Friday game against the Onslow County/Farmville loser.
Members of the Bladen County All-Stars are: Kaitlynn Brisson, Laci Storms, Stacey Gomez, Kennedy Carroll, Karly Ross, Hannah Richardson, Emmee Ward, Lena Damasco-Trinidad, Violet Allen, Molly Pait, Marlie Walters and Holland Davis.
Head Coach of the Bladen All-Stars is Jerry Hill and assistant coaches are Angela Fields and Shannon Ross.
The tournament will be played at the West New Bern Recreation Center that is located at 1225 Pinetree Dr., New Bern, NC 28562.
