DUNN -Bladen County’s 12U Girls Basketball All-Stars won their opening game over Sampson County 31-16 Friday night in the State-Wide Athletics Committee’s (SWAC) Sectional at Midway Elementary School.
Bladen County advances to play Beaufort at 10 a.m. Saturday morning. Another win would put Bladen County in the winners bracket final at 3 p.m. in the double-elimination event. A loss Saturday would drop Bladen County into an elimination game at 2 p.m.
