GOLDSBORO – Bladen County Recreation’s 14-Under CoEd All-Stars split their first 2 games in the StateWide Activities Committee (SWAC) State Soccer Tournament Saturday.
Bladen County shutout Pleasant Garden 4-0 in their opening game Saturday morning. Chace Butler, Kevyn Labra, Fernando Rebollar and Garrett Dunham fired in goals for the winners.
In their second game Bladen County lost to Nash County 5-1. Butler scored the Bladen goal.
Bladen County will complete pool play Sunday at 9 a.m. against Fuquay-Varina. A win should propel the Bladen team into medal round play that begins at 1 p.m.
