Bladen County’s 16-and-Under Girls Softball All-Stars open play Friday at 5 p.m. in the State-Wide Activities Committee’s (SWAC) State Tournament in Tarboro.
Bladen County will play the winner of Friday’s Tarboro/Warren County game in their opener. The six-team double-elimination tournament will continue through Sunday.
Members of the Bladen All-Stars are: Nesiah Davis-McKoy, Johanna Parker, Jordan Kinlaw, Alyssa Suggs, Carlie West, Katlynn Tatum, Amelia Brisson, Natalie Ludlum, Sara Corriveau, Lauren Pait, Hannah Pait, Briley Stanley and Kylee Ward.
Head coach is Chase Lancaster and assistant coaches are Pam Stephens and Alan West.
The tournament will be played at the Indian Lake Sports Complex located at 3300 Western Blvd, Tarboro, 27886.
