The Bladen County Board of Commissioners are expected to consider approving an emergency operations plan and receive an update regarding a proposed beaver management program Monday at its regularly scheduled meeting.
The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. in the assembly room in the lower level of the Bladen County Courthouse in Elizabethtown.
Bladen County Emergency Services Director Nathan Dowless will address the board about the plan for dealing with emergency situations in the county, according to the agenda.
Commissioners approved the beaver management program in August to help control flooding in Bladen and Columbus counties. Soil and Water Conservation Director Dean Morris is expected to provide an update for the board.
