The Bladen County Board of Commissioners are scheduled to meet Monday night for the first time this year. The meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. in the Commissioners Room in the basement of the Bladen County Courthouse in Elizabethtown.
Among items on the agenda are special recognition for Valeria Peacock-McKoy, Persandra J. McKinley and Cynthina McKoy, who retired Jan. 1.
Also, Emergency Services Director Nathan Dowless is expected to give the board an update regarding ongoing disaster recovery efforts.
