The Bladen County Board of Commissioners will recognize the East Bladen High School football team during its meeting Tuesday at Bladen County Courthouse.

The Eagles finished 9-5 and were eliminated by South Columbus 42-41 in the third round of the state playoffs. During that game, the Eagles’ locker room at South Columbus was robbed and players lost phones, valuables and money.

The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. in the commissioners’ room on the lower level of the courthouse in Elizabethtown. Entry is at the back of the courthouse.
