Spread the love

October is Domestic Violence Awareness month. To examine the warning signs of a potentially harmful relationship, the Bladen Community College diversity committee, wellness committee, and student resource center are partnering with Families First to present “Crazy In Love”.

The purpose of this exhibit is to show how someone in a serious relationship often ignores the red flags that signal
domestic violence. The exhibit explores the relationship of two fictional characters who meet and quickly fall in love. There are five separate vignettes in the exhibit, representing rooms in which the couple lives at different stages in their relationship. We will observe this relationship from the outside.

The exhibit opens on Wednesday, November 22, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the student resource center and will be open for viewing during normal operating hours of the student resource center through Tuesday, November 27th.
