This unique and engaging summer camp offers young learners and teens an immersive and educational experience, exploring a variety of career pathways in a hands-on, interactive setting.
Career Kaleidoscope Youth Summer Camp for Kids
Dates: Monday, June 9 – Thursday, June 12, 2025
Time: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Age Group: Rising 1st grade – Rising 5th grade
Cost: $100 (Includes Breakfast, Lunch, and Snacks)

Designed specifically for children in rising 1st through 5th grades, the Career Kaleidoscope Youth Summer Camp for Kids provides a fun and educational introduction to a variety of career fields. Campers will explore hands-on activities in fields such as agriculture, health sciences, emergency services, law enforcement, and cosmetology, with opportunities to engage in exciting classes in construction trades, natural sciences, computer science, engineering, and more. Throughout the four-day camp, children will not only explore potential careers but also enjoy summer camp activities like arts and crafts and communication skills workshops.

New this year, Bladen Community College is launching the Career Kaleidoscope Youth Summer Camp for Teens—a specialized camp for young teens ages 11-16. This camp offers in-depth, immersive learning opportunities in Nursing and Allied Healthcare, Agricultural Science, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Engineering, and Computer Science. In addition to career exploration, the camp will incorporate essential STEM education and communication skills, preparing teens for success in a variety of fields. Teen campers will spend each day immersed in hands-on activities, learning from industry professionals and engaging in team-building exercises and summer camp activities tailored specifically for their age group.
Camp Highlights:
• Concurrent Camps: Both camps will run concurrently, allowing for tailored experiences for both younger children and older teens.
• Hands-On Learning: Both camps offer immersive, in-depth activities to help campers explore careers in diverse fields.
• Meals Provided: Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are included for all participants.
Campers in both age groups will experience a fun mix of interactive career exploration, hands-on activities, and traditional summer camp games designed to foster collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving.
