Dublin, NC — Bladen Community College Library is serving up something delicious for the mind and soul with its upcoming event, The Book Buffet, on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Building 7.
Forget about calories — this is an “all you can read” buffet where your brain gets the royal treatment! Guests will be able to explore a full spread of literature with “Today’s Specials,” featuring audiobooks, biographies and history, cookbooks, graphic novels, inspirational/religious works, and true crime selections.
If your literary appetite is hearty, the “All You Can Read” section boasts adult fiction, best sellers, children’s books, consumer health titles, and even more audiobooks for those who like their stories on the go.
Not full yet? Dive into the “Ultimate Buffet Selection,” a smorgasbord of magazines, newspapers, self-help/improvement books, and young adult favorites. (Warning: Overindulging on good stories may cause spontaneous joy, sudden laughter, or unexpected inspiration.)
Attendees are invited to relax and savor the peaceful, elegant atmosphere set by beautifully decorated tables and warm candlelight — a nod to the idea that every good story deserves a five-star setting.
The Book Buffet is free and open to the community. So, bring your curiosity, a healthy appetite for adventure, and maybe a bigger tote bag — you’re going to need it.
