Bladen Community College offered many opportunities for children this week to learn, express, create, and build on their already growing personalities at this year’s STEM Summer Camp.  The campers brushed up on their math skills, explored career areas of interest or discovered their creative talents in a performing arts and art camp classes at the local community college.

Bladen Community College STEM summer camp was geared toward rising 3rd through 9th graders. Each participant paid a registration fee which included breakfast and lunch for campers at no extra cost.

Ms. Tracy Smith, Director of the camp said this year was a success and she is already starting to plan next year’s STEM Camp. Before the camps were over, Mrs. Smith hosted a showcase of this year’s camp.
