Bladen Community College will welcome students back to campus as the final spring semester registration days are held on Monday, January 6, 2020 and Tuesday, January 7, 2020. Counselors and faculty advisors will be on hand to assist students in registering for classes and obtaining information for a successful community college experience. “The staff and faculty of BCC are always energized when students return to campus after the holidays,” remarks Jeff Kornegay, Executive Vice President and Chief Academic Officer. “The excitement of new opportunities and new beginnings prevails among everyone here.”

“Our semester enrollment for students in continuing education and workforce development training is typically very strong in the spring,” comments Sondra Guyton, Vice President for Workforce and Continuing Education. “Our new courses in soft skills and client services are expected to have robust enrollment.” Dr. Amanda Lee, BCC President, added “What is so exciting in particular about this semester is the anticipated opening of our new buildings that will house classrooms, labs, a teaching auditorium and common student areas. We begin 2020 with growth and increased resources for our students, faculty and staff.”

A welcome and information booth will be set up in Student Services (Building 2). At the information booth, students can pick up information packets and other college materials. There will also be someone there to guide students in the process and direct them around campus to places such as the Student Resource Center and Financial Aid Office. Spring semester classes begin January 9th and activities are planned for students the week of January 13 th thru 17th. The activities’ purpose is to introduce students to college services and
resources while also fellowshipping and having fun. For information about all classes at Bladen Community College, call 910 879-5500 and speak with an advisor, or visit www.bladencc.edu.
