Bladen Community College officially announces the move of its Small Business Center to the new Elizabethtown Small Business Incubator located in the renovated post office building at 209 East Broad Street in downtown Elizabethtown.
The Elizabethtown Small Business Incubator is the perfect new location for the Small Business Center to reach individuals, small businesses, non-profits or churches alike that need help in developing their business plan or to support existing entities in sustaining their work. Incubators such as the Elizabethtown Small Business Incubator, serve as a tool for communities and organizations to support businesses by providing low cost office space, technical assistance, management support, and access to resources whether that be people, equipment, institutions, or financial.
The Elizabethtown Small Business Incubator is a collaborative venture including Bladen Community College and the following partners: Elizabethtown-White Lake Chamber of Commerce, Town of Elizabethtown and the County of Bladen. Bladen Community College Small Business Center (SBC) will continue to offer workshops and seminars at the college’s main campus and other community locations as well. The SBC is also a member of the North Carolina Small Business Network. The Network was established in 1984 to support small business development through the state’s community college network.
