WILLIAMSTON – The Bladen County 10-and-Under Softball All-Stars led Rolesville 3-1 in the third inning Saturday night when play was suspended by bad weather. It will be resumed Sunday morning at 9 a.m.
Bladen County has won their first two games in the State-Wide Activities Committee State Tournament. The Bladen team defeated Onslow County 12-4 Friday night and rolled past Lee County 15-4 Saturday afternoon.
Members of the Bladen County All-Stars are: Lena Trinidad, Mackenzie Singletary, Lainey Hughes, Emma Turbeville, Gracie Faircloth, Karli Priest, Molly Evans, Rylee Chadwick, Laci Storms, Addison Bowen, Zoe Smith and Madison Taylor.
Barry Priest is the Bladen head coach. Assistant coaches are Matt Chadwick and Brad Turbeville.
