HENDERSON – The Bladen County Recreation 10U Girls All-Stars competed in the State-Wide Activities Committee sectional tournament at Aycock Recreation Center this weekend.

Bladen County defeated Dunn 18-14 Friday night in their tournament opener. Bladen County was edged 9-8 Saturday morning by CCP&R. The Bladen girls bounced back with a 20-9 victory over Onslow County, but then dropped a heartbreaker 16-15 to host Henderson-Vance in an elimination game.

Members of the Bladen 10U Girls All-Stars were: Madilyn Hall, Ariel Cromartie, Nia McKoy, Niyah Wooten, Allaysia Owens, Harmony Richardson, Kimyra McDowell, Abigail Dew and Sana’a Singletary. Head Coach was Kaylan Tatum. Assistant Coaches were Ursula Wooten and Darius Gillespie.
