Ashley-MadisonNC Capitol Connection has released a list of almost 100 North Carolina and local government email addresses that have been uncovered so far as part of the hack of the online affair website, Ashley Madison.

Included on the list is a Bladen County Board of Education email address.

There are at least 2 Robeson County Board of Education addresses and at least 2 more with Robeson County email addresses.

The Ashley Madison website was hacked by a group, The Impact Team, who reportedly took the data in July and threatened to release email addresses unless the website shut down.

NC Capitol Connection is a publication of The Civitas Institute and, according to the site, features “News about North Carolina Issues, Leaders and Politics.

The Ashley Madison site is a Canadian based online dating service and social networking service marketed to people who are married or in a committed relationship and looking for an extramarital affair.

The website is now offering rewards for info on Hackers. The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) is reporting that the leaks have lead to suicides by some who were listed on the site.
