On Saturday, May 7th, Allen Brothers Outdoors hosted “Bladen County Aim for a Cure,” an annual event dedicated to raising money and awareness for ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.

The event included multiple archery lanes with targets, a kid’s zone for beginners, a remote-controlled rifle lane, and raffles.

When asked why she helped organize the event, Sandra Robbins stated, “It was dedicated to my brother Steven Davis and other people who’ve had it and are battling it. We’re trying to raise awareness about the disease, and it’s not a rare thing anymore.”

Alex Daniel, and his cousin Garrett had pondered for years about the idea of giving back, and now they have held their fifth fundraiser to help make a difference.

The Bladen Aim for a Cure posted their appreciation on Facebook, “From everyone involved, North Carolina Aim For A Cure , Steven’s Stompers – ALS Awareness : THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support the 5th Annual Bladen County Aim For A Cure !

Scores, amount raised, and other details will be available soon! Please bare with us as we wrap up another successful Bladen County Aim For A Cure in honor of Steven Davis, and ALL ALS warriors!”
