On behalf of the Bladen County Board of Elections, Mrs. Valeria Peacock McKoy, Interim Director announced the one-stop location and hours for early voting in the 2019 Municipal Election on Monday afternoon. She also announced the Bladen County Precincts and their locations for the November 5, 2019 Municipal Election Day.

One stop voting will be held at the Bladen County Board of Elections office located at  301 S. Cypress St. in Elizabethtown, NC from 9:30 am – 6:30 pm on the following dates.

Wednesday, October 16 – Friday, October 18

Monday, October 21 – Friday, October 25

Monday, October 28 – Friday, November 1

Mrs. McKoy did note the only towns participating in the one-stop voting are Bladenboro, Clarkton, and Elizabethtown. Therefore, registered voters who are eligible to vote in the Municipal elections of Bladenboro, Clarkton or Elizabethtown may go by the one-stop location and vote early.

All eligible registered voters may vote on Election day, November 5th at their Bladen County Precinct location.

The locations are as follows according to Mrs. McKoy’s announcement.

BETHEL – Singletary United Methodist Church 241 3rd St., Dublin NC 28332

BLADENBORO 1 – Historical Bldg. 818 S. Main St., Bladenboro NC 28320

BLADENBORO 2 – Old Spaulding Monroe School, 508 MLK Dr., Bladenboro NC 28320

BROWN MARSH – Town Hall 81 N Elm St., Clarkton NC 28433

CARVERS CREEK – East Arcadia Town Hall, 1472-A East Arcadia Rd., Riegelwood, NC  28456

COLLY – Fire Dept. 1879 White Lake Dr., White Lake NC 28337

ELIZABETHTOWN 1 – Bladen County Recreation Dept. Gym  located at 803 W King St., Elizabethtown, NC 28337

ELIZABETHTOWN 2 – Powell-Melvin Agri. Serv. Cen., 450 Smith Cir.., Elizabethtown, NC 28337

HOLLOW – Municipal Bldg. 14867 NC 87 Hwy W, Tar Heel NC 28392

Voters must be registered by Oct. 11.

Commissioners (2 seats): (i) David Hursey and (i) David Kirby.

East Arcadia
Mayor: (i) Perry Blanks.
Commissioners (3 seats): (i) Carlee Carter, (i) Rhonda Hall and (i) Horace Munn.

Elizabethtown
Mayor: (i) Sylvia Campbell.
Commissioners (3 seats): (i) Ricky Leinwand, (i) Howell Clark, (i) Dicky Glenn, Crysal Lewis Crumb, Mary A. McMillian, Jessica McKoy Wilson and Debbie Heyward.

Tar Heel
Mayor: (i) Roy Dew
Commissioners (3 seats): (i) Sam Allen.

White Lake
Mayor: (i) Goldston Womble and Gray Marshburn.
Commissioners (3 seats): (i) Tom Riel, (i) Tim Clifton, Jay Young and Dean Hilton.
