The Eagles lost to Pasco-Hernando 8-7 in 11 innings May 11 and lost to Bryant & Stratton 11-8 on May 12 and were eliminated from the Region X Southeast District Tournament. No details were available. Wake Tech finished with a 28-17-1. Lesane finished with a .333 batting average with 5 home runs, 31 RBIs, 10 doubles, 3 triples and 18 stoles bases in 41 games.
Recent:
Tied for 32nd in Colonial Athletic Association Championship at The Reserve Club at St. James Plantation on April 13-15. Thompson shot rounds of 80, 84 and 84 for a 248 total, which was 32-over par. Her Seahawks’ teammate, Lyberty Anderson won with 7-over 223. Thompson finished her UNCW career with two Top 5 and four Top 10 finishes in 35 tournament. Her 75.96 scoring average this season was the lowest of her career.

Finished second in the long jump at 22 feet. 11 1/4 inches in the Phoenix Invitational at Elon on April 14. Queens’ Anton Epp won with a leap of 24-2 1/4. Hines’ runner-up jump was his only one that counted. He fouled on three other attempts and passed on his final two attempts.
Recent:
Went 3-for-6 with a double as the Dolphins defeated Patrick Henry 13-6 on May 15 in the championship game of the Region X Southeast District Tournament. BCC lost to Patrick Henry 10-9 in the first game May 15. The Dolphins were the fifth seed entering the regional.

Had a single in each game of a doubleheader April 22 in the Knights’ 9-4 and 3-1 loss at Barton. On April 17, Dawson went 2-for-3 with a double in a 6-1 loss against Union. Dawson batted .346 with a home run and 21 RBIs this season. She walked 25 times. St. Andrews went 18-30.

Went 0-for-1, stolen a base, walked twice and scored 2 runs in the Rams’ 10-9 win over Bryant & Stratton in the Region X tournament. SCC won two games and lost twice in the tournament and finished the season with a 33-11 record. Pait, in 29 games, batted .238 with 5 RBIs.
