Former East Bladen High School Student Javaris Rhodie is very excited to announce that on September 9, his book “An Actor in Training” will be available for purchase.
Rhodie said, “The book is a guide for actors and performers who are entering into college programs.”
Rhodie attended The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York, where he recently graduated this past February.
The retail price for Rhodie’s training guide is 15 dollars, and it will be available at every large retailer, such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Target, and many more! Readers can expect advice from experienced Broadway professionals, teachers, and coaches. The book shows the mechanics and what it will take for one to succeed, according to Rhodie.
He vocalized, “the main reason for writing it was to inspire young performers who are entering this because it is a completely new world; especially, for people coming from small towns, such as I did and having no clue as to what they are about to get into.”
