The Bladen County Board of Education will meet on Monday in the meeting room of the Bladen County Board of Education offices.
The board is expected to recognize several groups and individuals. They include WRESA Superintendent of the Year presentation, Microsoft certified students, NCATA, ServSafe certified students, Governor’s School attendees, Duke TIP students, Student Monthly attendance banner.
Other items to be discussed include the May financial summery, CTE updates, CTE post-assessment results, digital learning plan, digital learning competencies for teachers and administrators, executive report on EC Services.
Action items for the board to consider include: spring board policies custom updates, child nutrition bid approvals for 2016-17, fundraiser requests, EC contracts, approval of insurance renewals, approval for lottery application, budget amendments, continuation budget for 2016-17.
The board is scheduled to meet in closed session to discuss certified/classified personnel, student transfers, and legal issues. The board is anticipated to take action on the personnel matters.
The board will also receive the superintendent’s report and the chairman’s report.
