Earlier this week we reported about two special meetings the Bladen County Board of Elections will be holding in Bladenboro and Elizabethtown. The meetings’ agendas are to inform voters of the possible merger of the two current precincts in Bladenboro and Elizabethtown into one precinct for each town according to a news release from Bobby Ludlum, Chairman of the Bladen County Board of Elections.

The Elizabethtown special meeting is scheduled for Monday, September 28 at the Bladen County Library, located at 111 North Cypress Street at 6:30 p.m.
The Bladenboro special meeting will be held Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the Historical Building, 818 South Main Street beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The public is invited to attend, receive information and ask questions.
