Christmas in July was hosted today at the Powell-Melvin Agricultural Service Center. The event was deemed a success for the many local vendors that were present and all offered unique gifts for that special someone on your list.

The items available ranged from hand crocheted dish cloths to original watercolors. All of the items offered were handcrafted by a local artist and the variety of items led you to the next booth just to see what might be waiting to make it to your Christmas list.

If you missed today’s event you haven’t lost the opportunity to meet the local artists and pick up some Christmas gifts. Many of the artists in attendance at today’s event also set up on weekends at the Cape Fear Farmers Market in Elizabethtown.
