Bladen County closed its evacuation shelters at East Bladen High School and Bladenboro Middle School at 7 a.m. Tuesday because of a lack of people in need of shelter, Emergency Services Director Nathan Dowless said.
Dowless also announced Tuesday morning that Bladen County government offices would operate on a two-hour delay because of power and internet outages caused by Tropical Storm Isaias overnight.
