The Bladen County Board of Commissioners met on Monday evening and recognized several employees for their years of service to the county.

Those recognized were Bladen County Human Resources Director Shonteia Keaton for 5 years of service; Bladen County Planning Director Greg Elkins for 20 years of Service; Dawn Edwards of Bladen County Department of Social Services for 5 years of service; Crystal Slater with Bladen County Department of Social Services for 10 years of service; Sandra Rich with Bladen County Department of Social Services for 25 years of service; Gina Ward with Bladen County Board of Elections with 5 years of service; and Cynthia Dowless of the Bladen County Public Library with 30 years of service.

A reception was held following the recognitions to honor these employees for their hard work and commitment to the county.
