The Bladen County Board of Commissioners will meet on Monday night in the Commissioners Meeting Room in the Basement of the Bladen County Courthouse in Elizabethtown.

Items for consideration on the consent agenda include:

*Proposed Agenda

*Minutes of October 15, 2018 4:00 pm Special Meeting

*Minutes of October 15, 2018 5:00 pm Special Meeting

*Minutes of October 15, 2018 Regular Meeting

*Budget Amendments

*County Attorney Invoices in the amount of $3,550 to Johnson Law firm and $1,307.89 to Pritchett & Burch Law Firm for the Revenue Department.

*Waive Residency Requirement for Human Resources Director

*North Carolina Office of State Budget and Management Agreement #5867-A

*Lu Mil Vineyard Event Request for the Benefit of Division on Aging

The Commissioners are scheduled to recognize Captain Jeff Singletary for his retirement effective November 1. Following the recognition ceremony, the Commissioners are scheduled to hear from the Southeastern Community & Family Services, Inc.

Kelly Robeson, Director of the Division on Aging will give the commissioners an update regarding the NC Family Caregiver Support Program and the board will be asked to consider approving a contract for services with the Lumber River Area Agency on Aging. The board will also consider approving the Division on Aging Advisory Committee Revised By-Laws.

The Commissioners will also be asked to approve a vital records policy, a consumer complaint policy, and an independent contractor agreement for Family Nurse Practitioner Services for the Health and Human Services Agency.

The Commissioners are scheduled to make appointments to the following advisory boards:

* Animal Control Board

* Child Fatality Protection Team

* Keep Bladen Beautiful

* Planning Board

* Watershed Review Board

*White Lake Planning and Zoning (Extraterritorial Jurisdiction)

Bladen County Manager Greg Martin will give a calendar update and he will present the board with a request from Bladen County Schools regarding property adjacent to the Paul R. Brown Leadership Academy.

Martin will also present a request from Bladen’s Bloomin’  Agri-Industrial Inc. for a financial contribution to assist the Small Business Incubator Project at the former post office location in Elizabethtown.

The Commissioners will be asked to consider submitting goals for the 2018-19 NCACC Federal Legislative Agenda.
