The Bladen County Board of Commissioners will meet on Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m. in the Commissioners Meeting Room in the Bladen County Courthouse.

The board is anticipated to recognize Beverly Spaulding for her retirement effective July 31 and Joan Allen for her retirement effective on August 31. The board is also expected to make a Recovery Month presentation.

The board will conduct a public hearing to receive public comments regarding the Home Health Agency.

Bladen County Department of Health and Human Services is expected to make a presentation of a resolution to declare the intent to sell the Bladen County Home Health Agency.

Howard is also expected to ask the board to consider approving a letter of engagement and HIPAA business associate agreement with Clifton Larsen Allen, LLP; consider scheduling a public hearing for October 3, 2016 regarding Home Health; consider approving a clinical professional services agreement with Columbus County.

Computer Operations Director Robin Hewitt is expected to update the board regarding a Bing Search Engine service for the Bladen County Water Department.

Bladen County Emergency Medical Services Director David Howard will ask the board to consider approving a temporary services agreement with Sampson County.

Bladen County Manager Greg Martin will present a calendar update. Martin will also update the board regarding proposed amendments to the Rules of Procedure for the Bladen County Board of Commissioners; and present an update regarding legislation revisions to the State Health Plan for 2017.

The board is expected to hold to conduct a closed session to consider matters of client/attorney privilege.
