The Bladen County Health Department released the COVID-19 update today.
Dr. Teresa (Terri) Duncan, Director of the County Health and Human Services Agency announced that there were ten deaths in the month of January, versus twenty-four in all of 2020. It must be remembered, however, that there were no deaths for the first months of 2020; and, further, that the January deaths were from 2020 illnesses.
Currently there are 13 Bladen County residents hospitalized due to COVID-19 with a total of 34 related deaths. View the full report regarding Bladen County and North Carolina here.
