The Bladen County Dementia Friendly Kick-off is planned for Tuesday, February 27, from 1 until 4 p.m. at the Bladen Community College auditorium. The meeting is open to the public.
For those who suffer from dementia, trying to perform simple tasks can become frustrating due to the fact they may forget pertinent information they need or they may become confused about details and events. Topics to be discussed on Tuesday include Dementia-Capable North Carolina overview, Dementia-A Caregivers Perspective, and Services and Supports.
