Melanie Bunn who is a Gerontological Nurse Practitioner and a Dementia Training Specialist, from Dementia Alliance of North Carolina, will be presenting on “What Happenings Next?” at the Bladen County Community Dementia Workshop on Wednesday, August 29th.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church in Elizabethtown. Understanding the progression of dementia can help us learn what to expect and how to better interact with those we care about.  Follow  the story of one family as they move through the stages of dementia.  Learn along with them what works, what doesn’t work, and how to keep the peace along the way. The church is located at 901 West broad Street in Elizabethtown.
