The Bladen County Board of Commissioners met on Monday night and recognized two employees for their retirement and several employees for their years of service to the county.
Retiring from their positions with Bladen County are Water Director Randy Garner and Transfer Station Supervisor Milton Parker. Their retirements were effective on February 1, 2018.
Recognized for their year’s of service were:
*Cynthia Martin-McKoy with the Finance Department for 25 years of service to the county.
*James White Jr. with the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office for five years of service to the county.
*Kimberly Jones with the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office for 20 years of service.
*Taaffe Andrews with Bladen County EMS for 10 years of service.
Others who were not able to attend but were recognized were:
*Karen Suggs with Bladen County Animal Control for 10 years of service,
*Zulema Cardenas with Bladen County Department of Social Services for five years of service.
*Joyce Montgomery with Bladen County Department of Social Services for five years of service.
*Dana Norris with Bladen County EMS for five years of service.
*Heather Warwick with Bladen County EMS for five years of service.
*Barry Pait with the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office for 10 years of service.
*Milton Parker was not photoed for his retirement recognition.
