Bladen County Farm Bureau County President Albert Beatty presents Kate Wheel a Visual Arts Teacher at Emereau School to receive the Bladen County “Ag in the Classroom” grant. Students will learn about the ways they benefit from farmers in NC by lessons that teach them the benefits they experience from food and other products produced by NC farms. Funding will be used to support student learning by utilizing garden beds and outdoor compost bins.
