Bladen County Farm Bureau President Albert Beatty presents Jacob Barber with the Bladen County Farm Bureau Scholarship for 2018. Jacob was also awarded the R. Flake Shaw Scholarship given by North Carolina Farm Bureau. Jacob is the son of George and Sonya Barber.
He plans to continue his education at NC State University and obtain a major in Plant and Soil Science. Our program provides an important service to deserving youth in our area and state that have a desire to further their education and pursue a career path in agriculture.
