Multiple Bladen County fire departments and the NC Forest Service are working a large woods fire in the White Lake fire district. The fire is located in woods between NC 53 West and NC 41 East.

White Lake Fire Chief Dale Brennan said there are 50 fire personnel on the scene. Responding to the fire were the White Lake Fire Department, Kelly Fire Department, Rowan Fire Department, Hickory Grove Fire Department, Bladenboro Fire Department, and Bay Tree Lakes Fire Department. Also responding were the NC Forest Service, Bladen County EMS, and Bladen County Emergency Management.
