Bladen County has five Girl Scout Troops and would like to have more. The troops have plans to grow and two troops have events coming soon, according to Chris Lancaster Girl Scouts Membership Director with Bladen, Brunswick, and Columbus County.
You may check the Girl Scouts happenings by visiting their Facebook page. “This is a page that is open to the public for information about new troops forming, learning about what Girl Scouts are doing in Bladen County, and when entering cookie season, we will post about cookie booths in the area,” Ms. Lancaster said.

Currently there are two Girl Scout events planned, with others to follow, according to Ms. Lancaster.
The Bladenboro troop formation will hold a Girl Scout Superheroes event on Tuesday, September 17 at 109 E. Elm Street, Bladenboro from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. Find out more at https://www.facebook.com/
Clarkton troop formation will hold a Clarkton Girl Scout Superheres event on Saturday, September 21 at 203 E. Church Street in Clarkton. Anyone interested in joining the Girl Scouts is invited to attend the event. You may find out more at:
