Effective October 1, 1985 the state of North Carolina made it mandatory to wear seat belts while driving in Bladen County and all of North Carolina.
By a 4-1 vote the Bladen County Hospital Board of Trustees passed a policy change that provides that the Hospital Administrator, the Hospital Controller and the Hospital Director of Nursing attend all Bladen County Hospital Board meetings and work as a Management Team at Bladen County Hospital.
White Lake Town Board voted to contract with Alert Cable TV to provide cable services for the town of White Lake.
