The 440th Army Band was scheduled to march in the Clarkton Tobacco Festival.
Bill Keith was elected Mayor of Elizabethtown with 52% of the vote. Commissioners elected were Wallace Leinwand, 981 votes, Ken Kornegay, 904 votes and Esther Huntley with 702 votes.
Pam Melvin was elected Miss Clarkton Tobacco Festival.
The Duck’s Unlimited Banquet was held at Bay Tree Lakes.
