An elegant evening is planned for this year’s Bladen County Hospital Foundation Gala. The event will take place on Saturday, February 23rd, at 6 p.m. at Lu Mil Vineyard in Dublin and is a black-tie optional event.

There will be a red carpet photo booth available for folks who want that added bit of glamour to their evening. Tickets for the Gala are sold out, according to Cape Fear Valley-Bladen Healthcare’s Ashley Dowless. The proceeds raised by the event go to the foundation’s efforts in supporting the patients of Bladen County Hospital.

Folks can enjoy the sounds of Jane Clark and Tom Noonan and there will also be an elegant sit-down dinner presented by Giorgio’s and Maurice Williams and Robin Summerlin are working on a “Winter Wonderland.”

Raffle items this year will feature jewelry from Bob’s Jewel Shop, a patio heater from Bladen Builder’s Supply, a Yeti Hopper from Leinwand’s, Apple AirPods, and a Hit the Town basket with a night’s stay at Cape Fear Winery and various goodies and gift certificates from places all around town, according to Dowless.

The event is sponsored this year by Whimsical Florist & Gifts, Four County Electric Membership Corporation, Lower Cape Fear Hospice, Campbell Oil Company, Minutmen Food Mart, Bladen Community College, CompHealth, Dr. Pearly Graham Hoskins, Vicki Lanier, Terri Duncan and LuMil Vineyard.
