Bladen County Emergency Management Officials have issued a mandatory evacuation order for residents who reside along the Cape Fear River and along Burney Road, River Road, and Tar Heel Ferry Road.

Flooding is expected to be near or possibly higher than Hurricane Matthew levels.

Residents are encouraged to move further inland if at all possible.

The closest Bladen County shelter will be West Bladen High School ocated at 1600 NC-410, Bladenboro, NC 28320
