Bladen County’s Junior Beta Club members are heading to Greensboro this weekend to compete at the North Carolina Junior Beta Club convention held at the Sheraton Four Seasons Hotel and Koury Convention Center Tuesday, Feb. 5, and Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019.

A pair of Bladen County’s Junior Betas will compete for State offices. Jair McElveen of Clarkton School of Discovery will campaign for Junior President. Gabriella Bray of Emereau:Bladen will campaign for Junior Secretary.

There will also be Junior Betas competing in various categories. In the Performing Arts Junior group the Clarkton School of Discovery and Harrells Christian Academy will be competing. Emereau:Bladen Junior Betas will be competing in the Elementary Solo, Duo and Trio category.

Emereau:Bladen, Clarkton School of Discovery, and Harrells Christian Academy are all competing in the category of Junior—Solos, Duo, and Trio.

In the Songfest, Junior Betas from Emereau:Bladen will compete in the Elementary Category. In the Junior Songfest category, Clarkton School of Discovery and Harrells Christian Academy are scheduled to compete.
