This class is for those wishing to learn the basics of this weapon system. You will learn the history of the weapon, basic components and nomenclature. You will also learn how to break down and clean the weapon, zero iron sights or scopes, and other basic marksmanship and weapon handling fundamentals in a safe and relaxed learning environment. The course will also cover weapon safety in the home.
This class will be taught by Lead Instructors Phillip Little and Larry Guyton and they will be assisted by several, Criminal Justice Certified Firearms Instructors with years of experience and knowledge. If you want good, quality instruction in a safely controlled and monitored setting then this is the class for you.

Cost: $75.00 .
Price includes all course materials, and a certificate of completion. Safety equipment will be provided if needed. All you need to bring is the weapon you wish to shoot and your ammunition. A minimum of 100 rounds of ammunition is required. Also please bring a billed hat to wear while qualifying. A minimum of 6 people are needed for the class and no more than 15 will accepted for this class.
A deposit of $25.00 is due by Friday, March 11, 2022 with balance due the day of class. Deposit can be dropped off (exact amount) at Bladen County Sheriff’s Office, 299 Smith Circle, Elizabethtown, by mailing to Sarah Murphy at 3512 NC HWY 242 S, Elizabethtown, NC 28337 or by paying on Cash App $sakam67. We will accept cash or a check made out to the Association (BCLEOA). Your name must be on the class list prior to paying your deposit.
