The Bladen County Law Enforcement Officers Association will be holding a class on Saturday, February 12, 2022. The course will be offered from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at 5853 US Hwy 701 N. Elizabethtown, behind the old prison that is now Bladen County Emergency Services Training Center. The cost of attending is $75.00.
Please contact Sarah Murphy by texting 910-876-2690 or emailing samurphy@intrstar.net to get your name on the class list. Bladen County Law Enforcement is limiting the class to 15 participants due to COVID-19 restrictions.
A deposit of $25.00 is due by Friday, February 4, 2022, with a balance due on the day of class. The deposit can be dropped off (exact amount) at Bladen County Sheriff’s Office, 299 Smith Circle, Elizabethtown, by mailing to Sarah Murphy at 3512 NC HWY 242 S, Elizabethtown, NC 28337 or by paying on Cash App $sakam67. We will accept cash or a check made out to the Association (BCLEOA). Your name must be on the class list prior to paying your deposit.
On the day of class, you will need to bring the weapon you wish to qualify, and 30 rounds of ammunition are required.
Also, please bring a billed hat to wear while qualifying. If you have your own eye and ear protection, you are welcome to use it; if not, we will have some on hand.
