Bladen County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kasheem Henry, a young man from Bladen County, on multiple sex offenses including Statutory Sex Offense, Statutory Rape, Indecent Liberties with a Child, and Incest with a child under the age of 13.
According to the news release from the sheriff’s office, in November of 2021 a father was informed by his 10-year-old daughter that she had been sexually assaulted by her family member, who was identified as adult family member, Kasheem Henry. It was reported that the offenses occurred between November of 2020 and November of 2021 when the victim informed her father.
The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office’s news release states: “Sheriff’s Office investigators began an investigation into the matter with assistance from Carolyn’s Kaleidoscope Child Advocacy Center in Whiteville, who conducted forensic interviews with the child.”
Today, January 28, 2022, Suspect Kasheem Henry was arrested on four counts and placed under a secured $500,000 bond, in the custody of the Bladen County Detention Center.
